cccx race and handling suggestion

Hi, I am a first time blogger....hope I push the right butttttons......Great Job Jim! I knew you were tough as nails! I raced this weekend in the second mountain bike race for me for the new year at CCCX at for Ord on Sunday. I raced the sport 45-55. Great course! I didn't crash...got 11th out of 25...I stayed pretty much close to my AT for the entire race...so I'm OK with that...
I certainly think that my recent off-roading bike racing career has helped me with my handling skills. There is quite a lot of jostling during any of the cyclocross races and racing is very instructive on going anaerobic and having to maneuver obstacles and other racers. Maybe we could have a few roadie converts for next season...If not just for the handling benefits...KemAkol
